These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vonophone website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
The Services are not intended for users under the age of 16. If you are under 16, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
You are responsible for:
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as needed.
You agree not to use the Services to:
Vonophone may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP.
The Services do not support emergency calling, such as 112, 911, 999, or other emergency numbers. You must maintain a separate method to contact emergency services. Attempting to dial emergency or special short codes (including 112, 911, 999, and N11 codes) through the Services may be blocked by the app or network.
Vonophone uses a prepaid wallet model. You purchase calling credits and charges are deducted per minute (or per applicable rate) when you place calls. Credits have no cash value outside the Services and are non-transferable.
All mobile store purchases are verified on our servers before credits are added to your wallet.
The mobile apps sell one-time consumable credit packs, not recurring subscriptions. Any future subscription product will be clearly labeled before purchase.
Auto top-up using a saved payment method, if offered, is available on the website only, not through Apple or Google in-app billing.
Unused wallet balance is generally non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in Section 16 (service discontinuation).
Vonophone may impose reasonable usage limits to maintain service quality and prevent abuse. These may include call volume limits, rate limiting, or restrictions on suspicious activity. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if action is required.
Vonophone collects call metadata (caller/recipient numbers, timestamps, duration, and connection details). Vonophone does not record or store call audio by default.
If call recording becomes available:
Vonophone is not responsible for legal compliance regarding user-initiated recordings.
Vonophone may allow you to verify a phone number you own for use as caller ID when placing outbound calls. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any number you verify.
Vonophone does not currently sell or lease dedicated inbound phone numbers through the mobile app. If we offer number provisioning in the future, additional terms will apply.
We may release verified caller IDs that are unused, invalid, or associated with abuse, with reasonable notice where feasible.
Using the Services requires:
Vonophone is not responsible for issues caused by your device, network, or environment.
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Service may be disrupted due to maintenance, network issues, third-party outages, or force majeure.
Call performance depends on network and device conditions. Vonophone does not guarantee specific call quality.
Vonophone may offer beta or experimental features. These features are provided "as is," may change at any time, and may contain bugs. Use of beta features is at your own risk.
To deliver the Services, Vonophone uses trusted third parties, including:
Your use of the Services constitutes acceptance that these providers may process data as described in our Privacy Policy.
All intellectual property rights relating to the Services are owned by Vonophone or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Services without prior written permission.
You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by contacting [email protected]. Account deletion is subject to our Privacy Policy and legal retention requirements for billing records.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Vonophone does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements.
If Vonophone discontinues its Services, we will provide users with at least 30 days' advance notice.
By using Vonophone, you agree to this refund policy in the event of permanent service discontinuation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vonophone and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
This limitation applies even if we have been advised of possible damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vonophone from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in Liechtenstein, unless prohibited by law.
You agree that disputes must be resolved individually, and you waive any right to participate in class, collective, or representative actions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Liechtenstein, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will always be available on our website and within the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
